Introduction to SEO SMO & PPC

SEO refers to Search Engine Optimization, is the process of optimizing a webiste so that people can easily find it via search engines like google, bing etc. It is  the process of getting traffic from the free Organic editorial or natural search results in the search engine result page or SERP. It seems difficult and confusing, but a simple analogy can make SEO easy-to-understand. SEO is like getting a job. You need to defined, goals such as a sale or sales lead, a great website, excellent inbound links and social mentions and a strong landing experiance.

SMO refers to Social Media Optimization, is the use of a number of social media outlets and communities to generate publicity to increase the awareness of a product, service brand or event.

Whereas, PPC refers to Pay Per Clcik, it is also called CPC i.e. Cost Per Click, is an internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which an advertiser pays a publisher (typically a website owner or a network of websites) when the ad is clicked.
